Feelin' French With A Bourjois Haul

The one good thing about my lack of control when I go shopping, is that I always have something new to share with you. My latest drugstore impulse buy involves only one brand, and probably my favourite drugstore/chemist brand, Bourjois.

New In: Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm

First impressions say a lot, and when it comes to skincare, I like to be impressed from the get go. When I first tried the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, I was so amazed at how soft my skin felt I had to go and make my mum feel my face. Maybe that's slightly extreme, but if you want a cleanser that will leave your skin feeling incredibly balanced and calm, then this could be the one for you.

The Truth About Graduating

Life after graduation is a topic I've wanted to cover a while but wasn't sure how to go about it. I've decided just to write down my thoughts surrounding it in a somewhat disorganised manner. I'm writing this post after learning I wasn't successful in another graduate job I interviewed for. At least I actually got some feedback this time. It was all positive, there were just 'stronger candidates'. I'm assuming that means other people had more experience, but that's what I'm trying to get. I'm sorry if this post is a bit all over the place, but I have a lot of thoughts surrounding the way some companies treat graduates, and the way society perceives us.

Dissapointing Product: Yves Saint Laurent Teint Touche Eclat Foundation

I thought I would share a disappointing product I bought recently, in the hope that it will save someone else from making the same mistake as I did. I bought the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Foundation under the impression it would be a decent coverage foundation with a lot of glow factor. Now maybe it's my fault for not doing my research properly, but this foundation barely covered anything and hardly added any glow to my skin.

Carrot and Pecan Cake Loaf

What birthday cake do you make for someone that doesn't like chocolate cake? To be honest, chocolate isn't my favourite kind of cake, but my dad would refuse to eat it, so I had to think of a completely chocolate free cake to whip up for his birthday. As usual, Pinterest came to the rescue and helped me create the most delicious cake I've ever made. Credit for the recipe goes to Shiran at Pretty Simple Sweet. As usual I made a couple of my own adjustments along the way.

Let me tell you how it was created.
